At Valley Alpacas we have a range of alpaca stud services available to those owners who wish to have their females served both on their own farm or at our premises, here at Valley Farm.
For 2009 we are very aware of the economic times we are in and therefore are reducing the prices of the stud matings, Please contact us for deals on multiple matings.
The alpaca stud services using our herd sires can be purchased in three popular options. On farm, drive by, and mobile.
- On Farm (OF) - On farm matings are available for all of your female alpacas. Residency is usually for around 60 days. We offer a collection / return service.
- Drive By (DB) - Ideal for local owners, drive by matings are available for those owners who wish to bring their females to our farm, observe the mating being done and then return home with the served female. Pregnancy determination remains the responsibility of the alpaca owner. We offer a discounted stud fee for this service.
- Mobile Matings (MM) - Mobile matings are available for those owners who wish to have their females served on their own farm. For this service we will bring the selected stud male on to your farm, complete the service and then leave with the male. Pregnancy determination will remain the responsibility of the owner, and where necessary we will return with the male to complete the task.
The herdsires shown below are exclusive to Valley Alpacas and are resident at our farm. Inspection by interested parties is available by prior appointment.

Valley Alpacas introduce Cambridge Tenacity an amazing stud male, bringing elite genetics from Australia.
Tenacity’s sire is the famous multi supreme champion Jolimont Gianmarco, who is also the highest selling male in Australia, at $150,000 per half share. Both Cambridge Tenacity and his award winning sire are pictured above.
Tenacity is a very striking looking male who is well balanced and true to type. His dense fleece is very advanced with it being very fine, extremely dense, bright and soft handling. We are now pleased to offer stud services from Cambridge Tenacity at very competitive rates.
